Ready for Halloween

We have been getting ready for Halloween early this year. Jett has been obsessed with "the scary man" in our downstairs. Jared's mom has a pirate skeleton that sings and dances and all the grandkids call him the scary man.

Everyday Jett made me go downstairs just so he could see the scary man. I finally just brought him upstairs.

Jared got out the masks and Jett really seemed to like this one he has on in the picture. We also put out our spider lights and a few small decorations.

Jett has a fascination with motorcycles. Like father like son I guess. Last week Jared and K.C. (jared's bro) went for a Harley ride. Jett was quite upset he couldn't go, but luckily KC took his dads bike and left his sportster for Jett to work on.

Carpet Cleaning Fun

The other day i decided to clean the living room carpet. Jett is such a hard worker he decided he needed to help. He got his own carpet cleaner (the ball popper thingy). He did so good he even cleaned the chair. (see pic below). Anyway I got everything done and even washed the walls and furniture.

I was relaxing in a different room later that night and decided to go check on Jett. I walked into a room filled with baby powder everywhere! Jett thought he was sprinkling on the stuff you use when you vacuum to make it smell fresh! I quickly grabbed the vacumm to suck it up but it was no use. The carpet was still wet and the baby powder was stuck in it! Finally the carpet dried and I got most of the powder out. I couldn't even be mad at Jett cuz he was such a good helper.

Big Pet Peeve!

Don't read this if you don't want to hear me mumbling.

Here it goes.....So why do people always ask "when are you going to have a baby" How do you know that maybe I have been trying for years and can't get pregnant? AHhh. (not my case but some people have that problem) Also when you already have a baby and they ask "when are you going to have another one". That is kinda annoying, but not as bad as when they say " "Are you trying?" Hello people...that is like asking me when and how much sex I am having. If you really want to know I guess I can tell you, but I think it is NONE of your business.
I do not mind when someone asks "how many kids to you plan on having" THat is the nice polite way to get the info you are seeking without offending a women!
I might be over sensitive about this subject but it gets really old when it seems EVERYONE is asking.

He Loves His Noodles

Here are a few pics of Jett eating Ramen noodles. He loves them so much he eats them almost everyday. I am glad since it is hard to find things he will actually try!

Trick-or-Treat! Smell my Feet!

We had so much fun on Halloween. We had a spag. dinner with some of Jared's family. Then we took Jett and Andie's two girls Trick-or-Treating. Jett loved it except he got mad when there was no one home to give him candy, but he would hurry to the next house! I didn't think he would get so into it. Next year will be even worse I'm sure.

Good Bye Grandpa

My grandpa Ashworth died on Oct 14th, 2009. I usually don't like to take pics at funerals, but I decided it was ok to take some of the flowers. Im glad to have known him as long as I did and I look forward to seeing him again.
