The root of all Evil!

Tonight I couldn't sleep, so I decided to stay up and watch tv. The Jon & Kate plus 8 special that aired a week ago was on, so I watched it. Last week I decided not to watch it cuz I knew I would hear all about what they decided to do. As I watched I couldn't help but feel depressed. I know marriage is hard and everyone has their differences. I got the impression that the two weren't really communicating very well and thought it would be much easier to just get divorced than to work at getting along. I dont know what happened behind closed doors, so I shouldn't judge, but it is hard not too.
This is the classic example of what money does to people. It makes me realize that money does not always solve problems, and It usually causes more! I hope that the jon and also kate will find happiness in the future. I just wish they would have been able to work things out, especially because of the kids. Also I think this helps everyone take a look at their own
marriage and know what is really important in life!
I come from a family where my parents divorced when I was 16. I swore I would never do that to a child. Now after being married I can totally see why people do end up getting divorced.
I remember a saying my aunt had posted on her fridge "The greatest gift you can give your children is parents who love each other!" I totally agree with that! So When times are tough just remember why you got married in the first place and dont give up!

I agree with you on everything you've said! I didn't watch the finale either because I knew I'd be depressed. I am sad they have given up. They kept saying that their kids were the most important thing and I wanted to yell at them, "Well then grow up, get some counseling, stop being selfish, and stay together for your kids!" I feel so bad for all of them. Anyways, I'll stop going off on Jon and Kate. Hey, maybe I'll see you on the 4th!

Wow, I agree 100%. I used to love watching them and now have stopped all together. Sad how fame and fortune ruin any sort of a wholesome family relationship.
