Yummy in your Tummy!

Me and Jett made these yummy cupcakes for Halloween. We brought them to Jared's uncle Duanes house for dinner. Jett ate 4 of them before we left the house. I decided it was ok cuz the night before he had ate a whole plate of broccoli!

Jett's New Playhouse

Jett thinks that this is his new playhouse. He gets mad when the dog wants to go in and sleep.

Our New Addition...

We recently added someone new to our family. His name is Brutus. After alot (and i mean ALOT) of debate about his name we finally decided on one. First it was Arthor..i said no way. Then it was little john...jared said no. Then Jared's bro KC wanted Kimbo (after Kimbo Slice). Then we decided on Bubba, but the dog said no way! So now it is Brutus (or Brute for short). I still think we should have named him Benjamin Franklin cuz his dads name is George Washington and his mom's name is Thnk's Independence. Also his blood line is Red, White and Bully. He really does need a good Patriotic name. I guess Brutus will have to do though.

He is an Olde English Bulldogge. Yeah, that is how it is spelled. I promise! He is not very photogenic, so if you think he is ugly it is just the picture. He is acutally quite handsome.

CAUTION: ANGRY LION!

I put Jett's Halloween costume on him to see if it would be too big or not. He was not a happy camper about it. He is scared of the lion. Hopefully he gets over his fears before Halloween.

A little bit of Heaven on Earth!

OMG! The best grape salad EVER! I crave it all the time now! I took it to a family party and it was all gone in mins! This is a pic i stole from an online recipe. Mine looked much better of course!

8 oz cream cheese

8 oz sour cream

1tsp vanilla

1/2 cup white sugar

First mix cream chesse and white sugar. Then add vanilla and sourcream.

2 lbs green grapes

2 lbs red grapes

wash and dry completly then place in salad bowl.

Add cream cheese mixture to grapes. Then sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar on top with chopped pecans (toasted ones if you want). Chill at least one hour before serving.

What to be....what to be.

I dont know what to dress jett up as for halloween. I want to have his costume early so we can go get pics and have them back in time before halloween. My mother has a very cute lion costume she bought at cabela, or we have a frog costume, or a blue care bear one. Jared has already put a stop on the care bear, so that one is out. I could buy one for jett but they are sorta expensive for the really cute ones.
He loves animals so i think the lion one would be the best. what should I do??? I know this post is boring but it is on my mind.

Facebook Drama!

Lately I have been a little bit disturbed. I have a friend on facebook that is not afraid to speak her mind. Lets call her Sally. A few days ago she was saying how people are bad parents for letting their kids who are under age 13 get a Facebook account. So she called them liars for letting the kids lie about their age. She upset quite a few people, and most of them were her family members.
Today she was saying how she hates her church ward for being so cheap and not supplying plates and utinsils at the ward party. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't kill her to buy a 5 cent fork and maybe a 10 cent plate! Any ward I have ever been in has always had everyone bring their own plates and utinsils! Also I was surprised she would publically discriminate against the church. Especially over something so small! I don't think that people really think of the effects of their words on there.
I shouldn't be judging her, but its really hard not to! I am no better than her if I go around saying bad things about her. I just wanted to know what everyone else would think about this situation.
